Learning Together... That is exactly what we are all doing! After reading this chapter, I was very surprised that over 1 billion people are now online, and the ways in which they are connecting and creating are literally exploding! Twitter universe is one place I have not gone to yet- nor do I want too- I am feeling way to overwhelmed but I do admit I like to hear the Twitter updates about Hollywood!
I was very interested in a resource the author suggests we use for books- LibraryThing.com. I could see myself using this with my friends but also in my classroom. I guess when I am feeling a little less stressed I will try to incorporate this into my classroom.
In the past 30 years so the ability to go online has now stretched to a billion. I too have not use twitter, but I am on face book. Communication with family members for me has so improved, we talk and see each other, from United Kingdom to Japan it's just
ReplyDeleteI always thought that Twitter was for celebrities and didn't think regular people used it.
